Having walked past this place lots of times we decided to pop in, from the outside Xaviers looks like a very smart posh wine bar, once inside you immediately feel comfortable and relaxed! Its a lot bigger than you realise with nice window seats and cosy individual seating options, they serve breakfasts and tapas etc with coffees and tea, but their wine selection is very impressive indeed! Lots of things impress you as you look around, antiques pictures etc but the bar itself is really good and if you look down youll realise there is a glass floor that covers the cellar area that holds the more expensive bottles, Very much worth taking the time to try it out.

Excellent night: great service, great cocktails, great staff, and a great cigar selection. We got our selves into a pickle and missed out taxi. Kindly, one of the bar staff (we are sorry we've forgotten his name, too many cocktails. He has long hair, very friendly. Maybe Jack or James?) offered to give us a lift to the hotel. Above and beyond service in a beautiful venue. Thank u very much long haired friendly bar man xx
