Called to ask some advice regarding a current landlord after being told by the council it was the correct thing to do....Didn't even make it past the word council when the woman on the phone decided to jump down the phone and cut me off. She clearly is above working with people who are to do with the council, even though I'am not one of those people! She would have known that if she had actually listened. As she was raising her voice i told her to...how shall we say, go away! But not in a nice way. When i complained the boss decided to defend the member of staff. Incredible really and then say they have decided not to work with me! I wasn't even asking them too! Rude and, well think there a bit above you! Every other Agent in Penrith was brilliant, these lot..I wouldn't call again if they were offering a mansion at 20 per week...well maybe a would!

Let the landlord into my flat for electrical testing without telling me because they didn't read his email in time. Also took them six months to fix an extractor fan because their electrician was too busy to attend. Otherwise generally okay.

This is really a holiday letting company called Absolute Escapes, they must have found a sideline in lettings that they don't have much interest in, and it shows. As a tenant I soon discovered Eden Lettings weren't interested in being a letting agent. Nothing got fixed, always the tradesmen were to busy, however after speaking directly to one of their tradesmen after chasing them up myself by finding their number online. I was told the holiday lettings arm of the business was always taking priority and that they were told to leave the lettings until last. Meaning nothing got done. I would be cautious as a landlord using this company as we didn't have a single inspection during our 12 month tenancy either. Coupled with the fact your property won't be maintained and your tenants will be desperate to leave. I've been a landlord, and I've been a tenant, this experience has taught me Eden Lettings are not a good company to work with from either side. Stay clear.
