Harold's Tyres - Team Protyre

Went to have my tyres changed and they told me that my VW Golf had the wrong engine in!!! They told me it had an Audi engine in! I called my warranty and they basically laughed and said what a joke! Audi and VW are the same group and the car ran absolutely fine I just had a problem with the manifold. Trying to con a lady into buying a new engine I suppose. Will never ever go back here again! Caused me a lot of panic and stress! Horrendous!

I recently had a fantastic experience with Harold's Tyres when stranded in the lake district near Brotherswater Inn over the Bank Holiday. Very polite, available and pleasant in dealing with my popped tyre and replacing this. I couldn't recommend them enough.

Caught out on a bank holiday weekend. 15 minutes before closing I rang with a puncture and told if I got there in 5 minutes they'd take a look. I arrived, had the issue diagnosed and a pair of tyres fitted and was out the door in 20 minutes staying after closing for us. Lovely folks, saved our holiday. Professional, efficient and went beyond what's expected.

We were driving to Scotland and discovered a slow puncture - called in to the nearest town on Easter Monday, worried that we weren't going to find anywhere that was open but, luckily, Protyre were recommended to us and they were amazing. Fixed the puncture and had us back on our way in under 30 minutes! Really friendly staff, great price and can't recommend them highly enough.
