A quirky building with a twisting staircase takes you to the adult non-fiction and fiction books on the first floor. There's creaking floorboards and comfy seating to greet you, and you can browse at leisure.
Staff are knowledgeable, so if you're wanting to try a new author just tell them which books you've enjoyed and they're likely to pick-out something that will appeal. They're also super-efficient at ordering anything they don't stock in record time. Great selection of children's books on the ground floor, and the team go out of their way to offer younger readers a warm welcome.
