Swainson & Cowins

On a recent motor home holiday to the lakes from Devon I ran out of gas. (My bad, poor planning some might say ) flapping like a big girls blouse I went to the campsite warden who recommended Swainson & Cowins in Penrith . I googled them and was immediately impressed by their website. Its very good, lots of content, especially for gas, and there are prices their as well. I called to check on stock levels and call was handled really well, friendly helpful staff. When we turned up for the gas I was amazed when Tracey came out with the 13kg bottle! Flipping hard as nails these northern lasses . Great banter with her, all in all superb local family business, competitive prices, great customer service

Could not have been more helpful. Happy to unload and stack pellet sacks in the shed for me, ditto bags of kiln dried wood. The office staff go out of their way to be helpful. When they did not have enough pellets to fulfil the order, they offered to send out what they had to tide me over until their delivery arrived! Have always kept me updated with progress of order. Thank you very much, I will be back for more!

Swainson's & Cowins have supplied me with logs, hot logs and kindling for the last few years. They have always been reliable and helpful, I would recommend them.

Super service and helpfulness !!!! Stopped off (on off chance) for some LPG gas for our motorhome.Dougie and Tracy were v v helpful and efficient! Bottles obtained, spanner lent to us and a smile from both peeps! Super service - cheers guys ! (Other places need to be as nice, polite and cracking like these guys!) xx
