Ordered 2 dumpy bags kiln dried logs early November; they arrived 2 days later delivered by a pleasant, polite & helpful driver, who shifted them quickly & effortlessly into my garage with a pallet truck - 2 bags, 2 pallets - easy! Ordered 3 dumpy bags kiln dried logs 4 January; they arrived 10 Jan, delivered by a pleasant, polite & helpful driver, (Cumbria X-Press), whose job was made difficult & dangerous by 2 dumpy bags having been stacked one on top of the other. (by Lakeland Logs.) The upper bag looked as though it was about to topple throughout the whole 6-8metres from tail lift to garage, and the weight and instability of the load made it very difficult for the poor man to shift. I am SO grateful that he did not give up, & leave it kerbside, as he said he was entitled to do, can't thank him enough for persevering & getting the logs inside the garage - in the pouring rain! I had to suggest we unload the top dumpy bag log by log, (using a wheely bin to shift under cover!), and transport to one of my old dumpy bags from last time. Only when the top dumpy bag was 1/2 empty, was the load light & stable enough for the driver to manoeuvre the 1 &1/2 stacked dumpy bags on 1 pallet into the garage. The 3rd dumpy bag on its own pallet went in a dream, in no time, a 10th-20th of the time with no effort! I felt very sorry for the driver, having been given such a difficult task, which would have been so much easier and quicker, and less dangerous, IF the 3 bags had been delivered on 3 pallets, not 2. I'm happy with the quality of the logs, this was after all my 2nd order.

Reasonable on price, good quality firewood. We go for the seasoned hardwood bags and they're always ready for burning. They were prompt to arrive after ordering and they were delivered right up to the log store. Easy to order via there website too. Happy to recommend

We ordered kiln dried logs in the autumn that were of good quality although the person that we communicated with on the phone has pretty poor customer service skills. We ordered more kiln dried logs about two weeks ago that are nowhere near as good as the first lot. They are damp, don't burn, they produce loads of smoke and sizzle due to the amount of moisture. We emailed over 10 days ago and still haven't heard anything from them. Very frustrating and disappointing..and a waste of 110!

Best wood we have used so far and good price. Just frustrating that we can't place another order yet as clearly the demand has meant they only have unseasoned left.

Great delivery companyshame about the poor quality of the logs. As previous posts have said, size of logs are variable lots of small offcuts and outsized pieces in different shapes. Bags of kindling look like old bits of furniture and create a sticky resin when burning. Despite keeping them in a dry garage, the quality of the logs was poor, obviously not seasoned properly so produced low heat, spitting and left my wood burner black and sooty. My mistake ordering online, complete waste of money. Ill stick to a quality local supplier next time!!
