Camping at Hayfield

Loved it here, came at the end of August with two other families, owners were friendly and super accomodating as we had a little trouble with booking online but a quick phonecall sorted everything out quickly and easily. Had a great time, other campers were all friendly and a small kids kickabout ended up with loads of other campers joining in, quite a sight to behold and I'm not sure if anyone knew which team they were on Toilets were clean, smelled fresh and well stocked with toilet roll and hand sanitizer. Showers were amazing, lots of hot water and even had shower gel supplied. Owners saw the kids playing cricket and came to cut a patch of grass for them to play on, gave rides on the quad and even the tractor much to the delight of our 6 year old. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time camping at Hayfield its kept clean and tidy with nice open space with beautiful views plenty of loos that are also kept clean and stocked of loo roll they had showers which is plus with messy kids I like do lol and a little tuck shop where you can get a hot drinks and some sweet treats for kids or yourself They also sell logs for your camp fire The family that run Hayfield were wonderful people really nice and easy to chat too and was always around to ask them anything

What a hidden gem, the surprise for me was the showers that were hot all day and the tuck shop selling coffee, drinks and chocolates, the toilets were spotless. Plenty of space not overbooked at all. Beverly was a great host and very informative about what to do in the area. Close to everything, farm shop 5 mins away, aldi just down the road, booths just down the road and asda 15 mins away oh and 2 mins away from the ice cream dairy which is a must visit. We will be back next year
