Herts Doorstripping

I called John as wanted my dark stained oak fireplace returned to the lighter natural colour. I sent over a photo and received a quote promptly. Once I agreed, the fireplace was collected and returned soon afterwards. I was worried that the dark colour couldnt be changed especially on some of the decorative parts. I neednt have worried as the final final was fantastic with a coat of wax on it. I would thoroughly recommend using this company in the future.

Outstanding value and excellent service from Ben and John. Finally got round to writing a review following completion of my house renovation last year. As part of the renovation I needed all the doors (11 in total) from my thatched cottage stripping back to bare wood. They picked up the doors from our house in Hampshire and after the doors had been stripped we visited their location in Rickmansworth to inspect the doors prior to waxing. Following the waxing of the doors they delivered the doors back to us. Absolutely superb !

Had an old metal table, four chairs and bench in a sorry state. Tired of painting every two years only to have them start flaking after one. Google found Herts Door Stripping. Herts DS collected all the items, stripped then powder coated and delivered back. The furniture is transformed and looks better than it has in years. The finish will last far longer. A brilliant service. Thanks John!

John and his brother are great guys to deal with, responded quickly to emails and stripped a couple of old chairs which came up beautifully, ready to collect after 3 days. Very reasonable price too! Would highly recommend them!
