Great volunteer led window on the past. Lots of fine machines including a mini steam train for the children. Good walks for dogs on nearby Transpenine Way.

Excellent place to visit. Had a ride on the miniature railway. Very informative guide took us round.

Great volunteer run museum. This historic location has real potential and many things have improved over the years. It is run by volunteers and this can be its downfall, as many are better than others. Would recommend a trip though, especially if the railway is running.
