Windy Bank Hall - Holiday Cottage & Coach House

Just got back home after a couple of nights at windy bank hall, staying in the couch house. I spent my birthday here and honestly it was beautifully peaceful and very dog friendly! Such a beautiful setting with amazing views! The hot tub was incredible and an added bonus for me was the enclosed dog paddock so my dog could run off lead with no worries! There is also so many beautiful walks on your door step. I'm already looking at dates to come back! A real hidden gem. Andrea was lovely, very friendly and attentive! Can't wait to visit again!

Windy Bank Hall cottages lived up to the name being situated at the top of a ridge between two valleys, the views of both were spectacular. One of my dogs, who enjoys peering over any precipice in the lakes where we live, really appreciated the viewing terrace! Everything was in place for our arrival including complementary teas coffees milk and condiments generously supplied. It was really dog friendly, my pooches felt pampered, I'm sure. Dog exercise field useful. High standard of accommodation throughout contributed to a really relaxing stay. (Would have been with or without dogs) Interesting area with historical post-industrial and rural landscapes. Steep roads and walking add to the enjoyment. Highly recommended!
