Wortley Farm Shop catered our party last night - pie and peas. Absolutely superb service and delicious pies - thank you!

Sells usual farm shop products, we had a family size steak & ale pie and full to the brim with steak and tasted delicious. They also do hot and cold take away sandwiches, absolutely delicious, bacon and egg loads of bacon in them. Hot pork all food that we have had is scrummy. When they have Carrott cake is divine tables outside The shop if you want to eat there.

We had a brilliant experience. We were pondering where to have lunch on Friday, a drizzly day, having just looked around the antique shop next door. Noting our vacillation the lady in the antique shop offered to bring the farm shop chairs and tables into the covered outdoor area so that we could eat our lunch from the farm shop. What a wonderful gesture which enabled us to have a lovely meal of pies and peas, scotch eggs, a ham sandwich and two sausage and bacon baps. It was all very simple but provided us with the best meal of our two day mooch around the area. Im sure we will be back, and hopefully our usual spot will be available. Thank you for such a welcome and for being so accommodating. By the way the rabbit pie and peas was excellent and a first for us. Our tea this evening was an attempt at the same dish. The peas fell well short, what ever you did with them needs sharing. Cheers Michael.
