When we say GMT (Greenwich Mean Time), this is it. You can stand with one leg in the East and one leg in the West. This is where time originally was tracked. This is also where world coordinates originated. Every day since 1833 the time-ball drops at 1pm to tell Londoners the exact time. Great exhibit on time keeping. There is also a great view of the London skyline.

Good place to avoid high entrance fee at the museum and just want to step between the line. Easy to find from bus stop and 10min walk from boat. Greenwich town is a lovely town to walk around.
