For the last couple of years I feel like St Joseph has gone down hill. My daughter finished y6 July 2018. Any concerns raised, you has the parent are made to feel like you are wrong for raising concerns about your child's education and wellbeing and aggressive. Yr6 parents didn't receive their children's STATS results until 15.30pm the day before we broke for the summer, then was told the children forgot to collect the results. Parents asked their children why had they forgotten to collect their results, the children replied and said they were not given them, management rather blame the children, then be held accountable for being dis-organised . Bully in my opinion and experience, is not dealt with. My daughter and I are happy we don't have to deal with them any more. My daughter's confidence is slowely coming back. Parents please listen to your children and not just what the teachers tell you. In my opinion alot of staff there need re-training. The two teachers that my daughter and i liked, were Mrs Hamilton and Mrs Martin.

My daughter's SATs results came out two weeks later than other schools. When parents started questioning the headteacher about the SATs results, she said that they would be given on the 19th. Before my daughter got home the school texted saying that our children had left their results on their classroom desks. When my child came home I asked her why she forgot her results. She told me it was never given to her. After a few hours, a teacher living close by told me she has my daughters results and that I should pick it up. When I got there I showed the teacher the text message the school sent about my daughter not taking her results. The teacher said that the school had never given the results by the time the children left. That means that the school management is disorganised and even more they blamed their wrongdoings on my child which I find disrespectful and rude.
