Little Cubs Academy Greenwich Nursery & Preschool

My son has been at little cubs since October 2020 and has absolutely flourished while there. He started as a shy 2 year old but has really come out of shell. The staff are incredibly kind and supportive and seem genuinely excited to see the kids each day. Communication is excellent and they are really good at keeping us up to date. The food sounds delicious and my son eats a ridiculous amount while there, including things hed never touch at home (mummy, I like nurserys green beans, but not your green beans). The only drawback is the small garden, but they do make up for this by taking the kids out most days to the riverside or Greenwich park, or even to places like the library, maritime museum, cutty sark and mudchute farm

We couldnt recommend enough! Our 2 girls are super happy! Excellent nursery from A to Z, the staff is amazing, super caring and always available to help and support the children development with a tailored approach. They always take the children out organising exciting activities and going extra mile (Library, Museum and local markets, Trip on the Uber Boat!). A big thank you to Little Cubs!

We couldnt be happier with Little Cubs. My 1.5 year-old loves his nursery, and wants to go even on weekends. :) Hes always in a happy playful mood at pick-up time, is a really good eater at nursery (vs not at all at home), and I have the feeling hes best buddies with all his teachers. Every day at Cubs is an adventure. Im so pleased I decided to enrol him; picking Little Cubs over a childminder was a tough decision at the time, as I was unsure of the relative merits and downsides. I personally love the experience as well; theyre friendly, small, and they experience is very personalised. They send photos and updates all day long, which I love and makes me feel really involved. For us personally - best nursery ever!

Congratulations to all the staff and management at Little Cubs academy in Greenwich. My daughter has been attending since 5 months old and she is now 2.5 years old. Each room is always so beautiful laid out, great variety of age appropriate activities for the tots to enjoy, each week there is a theme and book rotation every 2 weeks. My daughter has enjoyed every moment there. The staff put so much thought and effort into developing a strong relationship with the children and are happy to personalise the experience and approach by child where required. My daughters speech development, hygiene awareness, general behaviour and peer building skills are so well practiced and nurtured in the tigers room. She surprises everyday with her understanding and awareness and that reflects the environment and staff she is with at the nursery. The staff have worked so hard in maintaining a normal life experience inside the nursery for the children during the pandemic. Hats off to you all! Lots of outdoor activities are planned to make up for the small garden but I much prefer them taking my daughter out for walks instead anyway! The chef always offers a variety of nutritious food throughout the day and theres lots of variety. Communication overall is excellent. Great app to see how your childs day is going and observationsmenus sent in advance, nursery updates throughout the day. I have regular catch ups with the key workers and management so we can support my daughter in partnership. I cant think of anything negative to say! Its the best nursery in the blackheath and Greenwich areas.

Very good and well managed nursery! My son is very happy there! The staff is fantastic, very dedicated, trustable, professional and hardworking. The food is very good, good quality and is prepared in-house. Activities and teaching are meaningful and with purpose. We loved the Black history month activities, the celebration of diversity and traditions. The nursery is not really close for us but definitely its worth the distance and time to get there. My son started at little cubs Greenwich a year ago, the nursery was almost new as they opened just before the first lockdown in March 2020 and they were closed for quite a while due to covid. We were part of the transition of the nursery creating a and setting up a new team, where the owners were on top of it. I think during the transition the care that my son received was good, however, since the team have been settled the nursery went from good to outstanding. We are very happy with the current staff!
