Please don't be discouraged by the negative reviews. My LO attended Robert Owen, even though only for a short period of time, the experience we had was nothing but positive. The staff and teachers were incredibly knowledgeable, experienced and most importantly, patient. My LO had a great time there and I really saw how much she grew and developed as a little human. The only reason we left is because we are relocating, otherwise I could see us sticking with Robert Owen knowing that our LO is in very capable hands.

Disgraceful and unacceptable behaviour from this nursery. As someone who has worked in childcare I would never neglect anything that is possibly harmful to the children or even disrespect the parents. There is clearly a big problem here.

My daughters teachers were lovely but the previous premises manager R. Woodward is an antagonist. You would think they would employ a more suitable person in a place full of children. Because him and his wife are good friends with the headteacher and his wife worked there for many years they turned a blind eye to his sadistic behaviour which is sad as our kids safety and well being should be their main priority. I had issues with Robert because he kept mean mugging, awkwardly staring and instigating arguments whenever I am with my child or in a space full of children. He called me the N word during a confrontation in the presence of the headteacher and also refused to let my child in class on a couple of occasions. He also purposely barged into me whilst walking my daughter to class but never did any of the above when I was alone until the last incident as they had changed the entrance due to covid. The headteacher even went as far to deny video evidence of him barging into me for the second time by claiming it didnt exist when it clearly did. Parents and staff I have spoken to also noticed similar bad behaviours. Make sure to file a written complaint if you ever have an issue as a verbal complaint wont suffice. The administration could do with younger much open minded people relatable to all ethnicities. Instead you have old people with poor ethics set in their ways. For these reasons and more I will never ever recommend this nursery.
