After contacting several packaging companies I came across this packaging company and from my very first contact with them i was provided with an outstanding service. Every stage of the process from talking about my requirements to being sent trial batches was excellent. I can not say enough about the good customer service I received from them. Highly recommended.

I implore you, do not use this company. I selected Moving Home Company after receiving 5 quotes, because they were 1,000 cheaper than the next cheapest offer. The service leading up to the actual removal was fine, plenty of phone contact, reassuring, knowledgable and the pick-up itself was fine, they sent two guys who were quick, careful and friendly. Around 3 months later, I had heard nothing and so emailed to find out when my items would arrive in the USA to be told they hadn't left the UK!! This was because they were waiting for the container to fill up before they put it on the ship. I had no idea my stuff wasn't on the way or that I was waiting for the container to fill before it was sent. Following this, everything went very downhill. I received no proactive communication from Moving Home Company at any point and had to send them constant chasers to find out any updates. I was completely out of sight and out of mind. The story then changed and this time I was being told there were shipping delays as a result of covid (I relocated in August 2022 so there could be some truth to this but it's not what I was originally told). Eventually, after around 5 months and far too many chasers on my part, I asked that my case be escalated internally only to have a manager reach out and tell me exactly the same thing - shipping delays due to covid and nothing they could do. The experience was so frustrating and painful and I felt like once I had paid my 2,000, I was completely forgotten. The complete lack of service was simply shocking. My items arrived 7 MONTHS after I relocated. If you want your items in a timely manner and if you want any kind of customer service, spend the extra money and go with a more expensive quote. You have been warned.
