Sadly the Vanbrugh as we knew it is currently closed. The landlady has left after 18 wonderful years and will be missed (see photo of her letter). There is hope a new landlord will be found and the Vanbrugh will rise again.

Lovely food, great vegan burgers! This is a great local pub with a garden with seating and inside restaurant- the staff are always friendly and during lockdown you could still get your favourite bite to take away.
Good systems in place for current COVID restrictions including online ordering/payment which doesnt require you to download an app (I am impressed they went this way) instead of having another app you only use occasionally. Dog friendly and great range of beers on tap.
