Bluebelle cafe is hands down my favorite place in Penge. My husband and I make a point to stop by every week and enjoy Ericas delightful cooking, Chriss friendly conversation, the relaxing music and calm vibes. I cannot get enough of the homemade coffee cake and the French toast, omelettes, and paninis are second to none. This place is truly a gem within Penge! :)

Wheelchair accessibility: Not really wheelchair accessible although you can sit outside and the staff will really try to accommodate you. Dietary restrictions: They have various options for those with dietary restrictions. Also, they will go out of their way to accommodate you.

My friend and I agreed to meet at this cafe after realising that our favourite in the Penge area was closed for a winter break. She lives outside of London, so this was a rare chance for us to catch up. We ordered a couple of drinks and food. The cafe got very busy, and we even moved tables to accommodate more people. However, the staff prompted us that other people were waiting for our table outside. They did not ask us if we wanted anything else, like a cake or dessert. We had not been told our table was reserved, and we both had hoped to get another drink, maybe share a slice of cake, and have a little longer to catch up. We had been at the restaurant for less than 90 min in total. Even after effectively telling us to leave, they ignored our requests for the bill. It just soured our experience. This was my first, and probably my last, trip to this cafe.
