When our mother had to go into care this year it was heartbreaking, she lived in North Yorkshire and we had to work extremely hard to get her moved to a care home near to us, her daughters. Alison, the care home manager worked closely with us to facilitate the move and worked with consideration and compassion accounting for the complex needs of our mother as well as our needs as a family. They have worked incredibly hard to help my mother adjust and settle which has not been easy especially with Covid but the care is exemplary, considered, professional and we are confident that our mother is being cared for and respected. The communication is honest and transparent with the family which is incredibly important and we thank them for that. The carers are amazing and the atmosphere at Pencombe Hall is approachable, caring and fun which is iso mportant when a loved one has to be placed into the care of others and I have enormous gratitude and respect for everything they do.
