The second visit was May Day bank holiday Sunday, I went in for one item and got to the tills to find the queue was so long I couldn't see the tills. Granted it was the bank holiday but you would think that they should be prepared for this in terms of staff moving people on. I decided that life was too short and returned the item and left without purchasing.
I would also recommend that the centre appears to have 'ikeafied' in terms of having to snake by almost everything without a potential shortcut to the tills, not that it would have mattered in this case.
Overall nice store, but don't plan on going on a bank holiday.

The food.
Like most of this place, it's superficial. Looks great on the outside but little to no substance on the inside.
I had a cheese scone that looked like it was covered in cheese but was as tastless as a leather boot.
Everything is as pretentious as French aristocrat. Fancy a ham and cheese toasties?
Well, look for the Croque Monsieur .
But once again it's fine dining made to service station standards.
A very confusing and convoluted entrance with tills either side that look like they are for different restaurants but visually represents what this place is all about.
Money upfront, disappointment in the back.
While waiting 15 minutes at the till I was finally next in line. The lady in front ordered and my anticipation of sustenance grew.
I suddenly realised I was standing behind gangster granny herself, as if in slow motion I noticed the mobility frames and her crew pull up from behind me and presumed to order in front of me after the staff encouraged them to do so.
Once again another disappointment.
Must try harder. Not charge exuberant prices for a lacklustre performance from a miserable lacklustre staff.

There was plenty of car parking spaces and was a short walk to the caf restaurant.
While we were only having a coffee and cake we could see menus offering cooked breakfast to hot lunches and cold lunches.
The staff were polite, attentive and customer oriented.
The restaurant was clean and tidy with tables being cleared and cleaned in quick order.
The staff were polite and smiled.
All in all a very good establishment.

A lovely cafe/restaurant serving delicious food.
The downside and the reason for only three stars is the prices.
You can go to a small independent garden centre and pay much less for the same plants.
You'd have thought that such as large company and them buying in much bigger quantities the prices would be lower.
Such a shame...
