Visited here with my husband a few weeks ago. Was a little apprehensive when we arrived as carpark nearly empty and only 2 other couples dining. Very quiet and therefore little atmosphere. We were howebe greeted warmly and shown to a table. Nice decor/ surroundings. On ordering, was advised that there were many things off the menu and drinks list as they had none. Also informed that there was no scampi but was confused by this as there was no scampi on the menu?! Quite a minimal menu to start with. The food we chose however arrived quickly and was piping hot, fresh and delicious. We had gammon and the fish and chips. Nice drinks too. We ate and left due to little atmosphere and we felt awkward talking to each other as could be heard by the waiter and other couples. The meal was average priced and we did enjoy it but not sure we will visit again. On leaving, a couple came in and asked if they could order a coffee each only. They were welcomed however advised that they had no sugar!! Every kitchen should have the basics surely!!!!!!
