Only visited here because we wanted some food and 'what the cluck' street food van had announced on Facebook that this was where they would be, pub seemed nice enough so decided to stay for a drink and eat our food inside where it was warm and out of the rain, rather than in the car. Barmaid was pleasant and helpful, it was a pretty busy place with a mixture of ages, the football was playing on the many screens dotted around, we found a place to sit in a quieter corner and sat next to a friendly lady and her puppy which was nice too. Overall it was a pleasant atmosphere, we didn't stay long but it was an enjoyable experience and the food from 'what the cluck' is delicious

I visit with my husband or friends and Grace and her team of staff are always so accommodating to my odd drink (JD with soda and Diet Coke mixed) never have to wait long to be served and staff are always smiling. The pub has the background hum of a traditional public house, newspaper rustling, plenty of chat and laughter, dominoes being placed, the groan of a lost football match and of course the cheers of celebration. Great place to sit back, relax and enjoy!
