About as much use as a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, my husband and son went in for an eye test luckily my husband witnessed our son's eyetest and at no point during the test was he able to read the chart properly with his right eye, yet it was decided his eyesight hasn't changed. My husband was concerned enough to get me to have our son's eyes tested at vision express and his eyesight has actually changed. My husband was told that as his prescription glasses were so weak it was really worth him wearing them! He can't read road signs until he's within 200 yards! He's going to vision express next week. Absolutely pointless service.

I regret having my eye test done here so much. I needed to get my eye test and get my glasses quickly because I had a trip to go abroad. The woman told me, "We are booked through the end of next month," without showing any interest in helping me. She changed the story and scheduled an eye test for me as soon as her colleague mentioned that they had availability at the end of the month. My eye test went well, and I was trying to figure out what kind of glasses to buy afterward. I stopped by around 2:00 pm, and a woman told me that they were closed for lunch before I even asked anything. I asked her why she hadn't given any notice, and she grumpily replied, "Okay, if you want just come." The customer service at Asda Gravesend is the worst in the town, and I am at a loss for words. For its fairly immature personnel, Asda has to invest in customer service training. Specsavers Gravesend provided me with excellent customer service and speedy turnaround for my glasses; I received two pairs for the price of one. I regret not going there first.
