I visited this restaraunt with my partner this evening, I was told by a member of staff that we were not allowed to eat our order inside the restaurant, even thought we had ordered to eat in. I felt as though we were being spoken to like idiots. I spoke to the doorman who informed me that we should have been allowed to sit, and noticed that other patrons were allowed to sit down and eat their meals. I can only assume - since my partner is a man - that this incident was motivated by homophobia. Gravesend McDonalds is - in my opinion - not a safe place for LGBTQIA+ people to visit.

I went to buy coffee in the morning before work, there was not a long queue, everything was going very slowly and when the queue reached me the girl went away to do some business, I stood and waited patiently until I was served, but time was running out and I asked her if I could order? She told me you can order when I have free time. I waited and realized that she was not interested in taking my order. I waited a bit longer and went to costa coffee, where they took my order right away. The girl was of Indian descent with henna tattoos on her arms. I won't come in here again and waste my time waiting for someone to take my order.

Pretty incompetent staff, I suggest going to the other branch in Asda. I Could see my order on the shelf and had waited for them to hand it to me. Asked at 10 if that was my order to have the lady listening to look me in the eyes acknowledging what I had said and then continue with what she was doing and not get back to me. Waited 20 minutes in total before putting my receipt on the counter and just leaving. Not coming back to this branch anymore.
