High Star installed an ASHP and batteries for us last year. The installation was quick and efficient, but 9 months on we still have unresolved problems. The customer service phone is seldom answered, and the company never responds. There is no other way of getting in contact. It is also clear we havent been given the solution we paid for, but an inferior control system. Customer service is non existent. I am at my wits end!

ENERGY SWITCHERS
Solid performance from High Star Energy, delighted by my new heat pump and battery. From beginning to end was a great experience. Mark and Richard were exceptionally good, left my home clean and tidy. Ive had a neighbour come have a look who is a plumber and he was impressed by the quality of the installation ! A definite vote of confidence there !

I asked these Questions Last February and still do not have answers 1. There was a leak on the pipe adjacent to a radiator they changed. The eventually they accepted to pay for its repair but have not paid for it yet. This has been more than 2 month. 2. Does the system need an annual service for the warrantee and if so, what needs servicing and what will it cost. 3. They promised to send me a copy of the survey report but I still not receive it. 4. Part of the sales presentation was the saving I would get over a seven year period, but I now fail to see how I will even break even. It looks as though I will make a considerable loss. Please advise? 5. Can the room thermostat auto change to summertime and the back to wintertime or will it need to reset every spring and autumn and if it can, how should it be set for this? 6. I noted that from the user instruction manual, the unit is capable of cooling and if so, does it cool the radiators without cooling the hot water, is it effective and how is it set? 7. They agreed to fit a web controller, but failed to advise when this might be done? 8. Can the system be set to run around the set temperature and not mostly below it and can it be set to achieve its normal running set temperature within a couple of hours. Should it be able to the set temperature in cold outside temperatures (-2C) in a reasonable time and not take all day? 9. Why is it more expensive than my gas boiler system? 10. Can overall system controls and settings be explained? 11. Since the installation, my shower has stopped working due to it air locking. The old system had a Surrey coupling which prevented this. The installer said this could not be used. What is the solution?

This is the last company you want to work for. I worked for this company for months on a promise of fabulous commissions once the installation has been completed. However, this is not what happened, once you have completed the work they will not pay you. You can not het hold of anyone at this company, Aamar and Jason will ignore your calls. I am not an isolated case, from my training with this company all 3 of my colleagues no longer work here. Would highly recommend looking for a job elsewhere.
