        I live near grays so made an event of this and so glad I did . I took the ferry from tilbury to gravesend ( 5.50 return ) and walked via the shopping centre shops and the Robert pocock wetherspoons . The shop itself has a lovely old London atmosphere with authentic tables and benches . Lovely pies , mash and liquor . Well worth the excursion coupled with the ferry ride across the Thames . Lovely !
