Unfortunately I have not been able to enter the home because of lockdown and my mothers unfortunate entry into the home and the difficult circumstances of her isolation (twice). I can say that I have found the Manager and staff to be extremely helpful and caring to my Mum and patient with me the worried son, I fully expect it to be 5 star when I can enter the home and visit my Mum and get to know all the staff.

Woodlands. Gate Rest Home is a lovely and friendly place to visit my Mom ,when she was alive, and my Auntie who has been there ten years and is still as happy now as she was when she first moved in. The home is always nice and clean and smells nice and fresh. If you visit in the morning you can usually smell the residents dinner which is freshly cooked and enjoyed by all especially my Aunt who usually wants seconds! All the Ladies who work there are very caring and you can see it isnt just a job to them, they look after the residents like they would family. They have all worked so very hard to keep the residents safe during this awful pandemic and I thank you all for doing such a splendid job.
