The manager is so disgusting even hes own staff do not like him he throws abuse at customers and is also very abusive to hes own wife and he shuts early everyday! Atleast 2 hours before closing time spar should be ashamed that this disgusting human is part of there brand

Absolutely disgusted by the attitude of the manager at the shop, closed early and gave me a mouthful of abuse because I pulled him about the fact that he had closed early, he said the staff had been there all day (which is their job) and they wanted to shut up, never will I use the shop again and I will be making a formal complaint to head office about his conduct.

Visited this store to buy bread and a 2L milk. Not as good best before date and certainly not as cheap as a supermarket but a small shop and someone you want to support in difficult times. Went to pay with Apple Pay and the owner/manager very rudely told me I had to spend 5. I politely questioned this as Im in retail myself and said you can no longer do this and depending on whom you bank with its actually cheaper to take card payments via a mobile device than pay cash in. He then shouted at me and told the lady assistant to put both items back without letting me see if I wanted to get more items to go over the 5 threshold in this shop. He then went on to be very rude and in a forceful manor shout at me until I left. The sad thing is seeing the other reviews this isnt the first time hes been rude and its very disappointing to see that Spar HQ know this shop and still let him use there trusted branding above the front door. After I left the shop I checked Spars website and I was correct as his store takes Apple Pay with no minimum or maximum spend. AND after I did a postcode search this shop clearly states as one of the stores that take Apple Pay with no minimum spend!
