It has its good days and bad. This is typical of all lakes, but when its good its very good. The middle lake is best for crucians. Downside is the amount of goose poo, boots get covered in it, so take extra footwear. No marked pegs, no platforms (good thing, i like natural ) i go occasionally for a change. Best baits ? Maggots, bread. Sweetcorn and meat does not work very well. Small pva bags are good as long as they are small. Method feeders tend to hook up in weed. Float works well. Happy fishing
