Didn't actually visit the premises. I don't think I'm allowed (Covid). I am waiting until I'm allowed. However I very often visit their website.

I found Steven when I was looking to buy my first reel to reel, mainly because I could not afford a fully restored one so wanted to know what sort of money I should set aside for restoration. With this knowledge I took the plunge and bought a Revox A77 suitcase model. He checked the machine while I waited and confirmed the price. He advised that it would be a few weeks and pointed to 20 or so other R2R waiting to be done. Sure enough a few weeks later I received the call that it was ready for collection. In the meantime I had bought a Restored B77 that needed the trim pots adjusting. While demonstrating the A77 Stephen spotted an intermittent recording light which needed checking properly. Being an engineer myself there is nothing worse than someone looking over your shoulder while you are trying to fix something, which reminded me of the garage price list, see attached. So I left both machines with Steven. A week later they were both ready and perfectly set up. Not only has Seven sorted out the hardware but he is a treasure trove of information thats not available anywhere else. Dont bother going anyone else, unless you want disappointment, that is. Oh and I nearly forgot the bill was 70 less than he quoted!
