I have spoken to Claire Perry to renew my policy directly, rather than through a broker. She has made some incredibly helpful suggestions for various cost options. You hope never to need to use insurance for your horses, but it is reassuring to have an empathetic ear on the end of the phone when making decisions. Highly recommend.

I have horse insurance with KBIS for a number of years and have found them to be helpful and knowledgeable about bloodstock. I recently had to claim on the colic/gastro intestinal surgery which is covered on the mortality policy. The claim was paid in full seemlessly on production of the necessary documentation. Sadly I had to claim on the death of the filly 3 months later which was also paid as per the policy. You cannot fault this.

Too busy to take calls, never called back. Eventually got to speak to someone for a quote, never received it, phoned to check email address was taken correctly too busy to take call, eventually called back 1 week later!! Went elsewhere.
