I had a total knee replacement in March 2022 the service I got was top class from mr James berstock and the after care. All going good at the moment / now waiting for a TKR on my other knee everything from start to finish was top class thank you all very much.

Mr Berstock is highly skilled, experienced and extremely professional. He is also a very nice and understanding person. I am very happy that he has been looking after me and performed my hip replacement surgery last week. The surgery went well and I get stronger every day. I do not think you can find a better orthopedic surgeon than Mr Berstock

I carefully selected James Berstock from a list of surgeons in my area who offer total hip replacement surgery. From the initial consultation to the operation itself, I was not disappointed in my choice. His total confidence in his ability was matched by a first class operation with no problems. . After 6 weeks I was happily on my feet again with no discomfort from my new hip and looking forward to resuming my normal activities. I have no hesitation n recommending him.

My entire patient journey at the Sulis Hospital, Bath under the care of Mr James Berstock has been exemplary. As an NHS nurse, I have very high standards myself and the Sulis did not disappoint - I cannot fault any of the care that I received. Mr Berstock himself was outstanding. Professional, thorough and a very safe surgeon. He was also extremely kind, compassionate and was genuinely interested in the best patient outcome for me as an individual. I had a total knee replacement in March this year at the Sulis hospital and under the care of Mr. James Berstock. Having looked at his profile, I was impressed and felt I would be in good hands. From my initial meeting with him to my post op. appointment yesterday, Mr Berstock displayed all the traits a patient would want when undergoing surgery; it was major surgery. He listened to my concerns, explained what was going to happen and what to expect, most of all, he came across as being utterly approachable, kind and caring and above all, professional. The surgery itself was totally successful: I was a private patient and felt robotic arm assisted surgery would be better for me. Mr Berstock and his team have exceeded my expectations, giving me confidence to consider further surgery under his care when the time comes.
