We bought the Croatia, Bosnia and Montenegro trip. Much of what I have to say has been said by others which demonstrates that this is a company that does not want to listen to customer feedback to improve their business model and customer experience. This is more of a logistics company than a tour company. Every moment of the tour was scheduled around the multiple buses that were being run simultaneously to avoid them 'piling up' at the various stops. To achieve this, speed limits were broken, stops were either rushed or tediously long and passengers were pretty much kicked off the bus in torrential rain because this was the schedule! The trips to the high pressure selling carpet, jewellery and leather shops (owned by the same company) were actually quite traumatising. We were literally swarmed upon by salesman who used every trick in the book to sell overpriced goods. The selling started on the bus as the guide talked up the high quality, low cost opportunity. When passengers complained that it was hard sale he refuted that by saying that it was just "service". We bought the "gourmet package". What a joke! This gave us a standard breakfast and a pretty inedible evening meal for the first week. We were then coerced into buying the fully inclusive package at the "beach resort" for an additional 500 cash. We were told: The hotel is remote - there will be nowhere else to eat (untrue) It is good value (untrue) You can just relax and eat and drink whatever you want whenever you want (untrue). The guide told us very little about the countries that we were visiting and told us quite a lot about himself. He told us that he had travelled to 90 countries, that he owned a hotel and vineyard, that he had made a fortune on bit coins, that RSD is a good company to work for. He also told us that we should tip both him and the driver 2 or 3 per person per day because their income relied on tips. Finally, we were told that he (the guide) wasn't allowed to tell us which resort we were going to incase it changed at the last minute which was possible. This meant that we were unable to see the many appalling reviews that the Pearl Beach Resort can boast. We were told where we were going once he'd gathered in all of the all inclusive payments! I will leave readers to do their own research on the resort. If you want to eat tasteless tepid food that is recycled day after day, stay in un-serviced rooms with no way of contacting reception (phones don't work) when you are laid up in your room with D&V, if you want to queue for watered down alcohol served in warm glasses by stressed, underpaid and overworked bar tenders, you will love it here.
