It is a nice place for football and dog walking. You can also go up on the hills from the footpath 100 metres/yards back along the road you just drove on to reach the car park. You can walk for miles there and the views are spectacular. Just take a jacket as it is very windy on the hills. About the toilets always being shut, my son just uses the woods which are on the right of the recreation ground.

Dog-friendliness: The area is fenced so there's little risk of danger to animals outside of the car park
