Emilie Mauran and her team of Architects renovated and extended (kitchen side return and basement) my house in the Peterborough Estate in Fulham in 2021. I was impressed by the quality of their drawings, they successfully got the planning application in rapidly and then managed everything from Tender to curtains ! They have great taste, are practical, very organised and have a great attention to detail (things I would never spot!...) It was also a very fun team to work with. To summaries a simple process and I now have a beautiful and practical home thanks to the team.

Emilie is a wonderful and outstanding professional ! We loved her 'can do' attitude, unrivalled attention to detail and ability to see things through a practical lens ( very appreciated when you are a family) .

We moved London and bought a property in 2016 that needed a full remodelling. Emilie and EMR came highly recommend. Emilie helped us get planning permission, source builders and other 3rd party workmen complete a full roof extension and a full rebuild of our kitchen, bathrooms living rooms and bedrooms. We also did a basement add on. Unfortunately, Emilie quit mid project after numerous mistakes that caused the project to run long and over cost. I think she had taken on too many projects so lost focus on ours. I would make sure any project done with this company has a hard timeline set and budget set with penalty rebate to the customer if the project takes longer than estimate time. I would also suggest notes at taken every meeting to avoid miss communication.

We have just completed a year long project with EMR Architecture. We were moving from a rented flat to our first house and we had never done any refurbishment in London before so we were completely clueless about the process but we had a budget. While we were searching for architects and contractors, Emilie and her team came highly recommended and it was absolutely the BEST decision that we have made to work with her. She and her team turned an old Victorian house in Fulham to our DREAM home, taking it back to brick, and managing the process incredibly well in 12 months as promised. She was superb in working in our budget, for example when we could not extend the basement, she suggested a wonderful ground floor extension instead which will now be our main living area. She is very creative and has great taste. When we could not extend our loft as we are in the conservation area, she came up with creative solutions to drop the ceiling below to give is more liveable headroom in the loft so we could turn it into an office and a gym. She also has great suppliers and always went to great lengths to get us the best prices. She would guide us on where to spend the money and where to save so we do not waste our budget. She visited the site regularly and was always involved on the chats and emails. She always has oversight on her team so is involved from start to finish. She has fought for us throughout the process whether its getting the best planning permission or getting the suppliers to deliver on time. She is very detail oriented and has an amazing eye for any details or any improvements we can make. I can go on and on about how amazing our experience was with EMR Architecture. I can say wholeheartedly that we could not have done this rebuild without Emilie and her team and she really took all the stress out of the process, from us to her as she takes great pride in her work. My friends always told me that construction is the most stressful and you would be fighting constantly and need to be on top of contractors all the time - well we never had to do any of that. I am surprised to admit that the process was with so minimal stress for a whole year. Emilie and her team at EMR finished our dream home to an extremely high standard on time and on budget - maximising what we could achieve within our budget and going over and beyond from start to finish.
