I very recently moved to this practice from Abbeyview, Crowland where the service is worst than prehistoric. Once registered at Parson Drove, I immediately I saw a 200% improvement just in the way my registration process and first appointment was managed. Friendly staff over the phone, friendly staff member at reception and Steph (nurse I think) was incredibly sympathetic and caring during my health check. She went above and beyond what was supposed to be a quick check up and when I left, I felt so much more re-assured. I cannot fault the staff and practice so far. Next appointment is later in the month so am hoping that will be a pleasant visit too. Thanks to all at Parson Drove Surgery.

disgusted my mum had her knee replacement after a long 3 year wait last Wednesday, she was discharged on Friday from Hinchingbrooke hospital with a dressing and her drain removed. the drain plaster removed a section of skin with it which has become infected over the weekend. Saturday night she spent 6 hour in Peterborough a&e with a further 8 hour wait to be told by a very polite non medical lady she thinks its okay as her dads went simular after arriving home at 3am the dressing she still had become allergic too becoming a seeping mess and fluids everywhere. 111 finally rang back and agreed to see her after a 16hour wait yesterday morning from original call, North Cambs hospital had run out of plasters/dressings so the nurse had to makeshift dressing using 3 cut to shape and given antibiotics for infection and was shocked how much she had already been through ! She continued to say how embarrassed she was after 30 year working in the nhs to see a patient in such a sorry state and past pillar to post and nothing actually being done or sorted. The lady told her to ring her gp for an emergency appointment for a dressing change this morning as its crucial because of the amount of drainage and infection guess what she cant be seen I am disgusted yet again parson drove we move to you 3 years ago and you was phenomenal but as of recent the service is more the shocking !!! If this was my dog or cat I could take and get care right now but where can I goooo / take her ???? Please help I am so worried about her. I am willing to pay whatever I dont want to loose my mum to infection / sepsis or loose her leg we have been passed pillar to post since Saturday morning I appreciated gps are stretched and no wonder a&e is the way it is but how the hell do you get a doctors appointment??? Please This is beyond ridiculous
