        A very caring primary school with great opportunities for learning. I wish all of my children wouldve started this school from the beginning of their school lives. My second eldest child started in year 6 after we moved into the area. She has learning difficulties which were picked up by the school right away. She was given so much help which was a huge leap from her previous school.who didnt give a toss whether she learnt or not. The school were very caring with phoebe and created a tailored learning plan to help her succeed when she did her sats they gave her extra time in a separate room and she had a TA in the room to help her understand the questions. Phoebe loved the school and didnt want to leave. I currently have 2 daughters attending southwood and theyre very happy here. Theres very good opportunities for learning and theyre always going on various school trips to complement their learning. Im very happy with the school all staff are lovely and very approachable.
