Really disappointed. I had a 15 fish in a bun. We asked for the garden salad option but it came with chips. The bun was burnt and the fish was two small goujon's that were dry. The waitress was in a foul mood. Not sure why, we didnt say anything about the food. For 2 snack/mains, 2 cakes and 2 cans it was nearly 50. The venue and the atmosphere was lovely. It just felt a little pricey for its location and presence. Parking: There is a car park next to The Kitchen but was full so we waited a few minutes

Place is wonderful especially when the sun is out. Went there bank holiday 1st of May. Not that busy but only two staff clearing out the tables. Wait for your order and carry it to your choice of place. I recommend to go up the balcony and it will lighten up your day due to the nice view. Went to the toilet but staff told me that its for customers only so I told them if I can go to the loo first before ordering to make me more engaging. Workers in the counter needs proper working trousers to avoid upsetting anybody.

Location is fantastic, views great. However food is very much tourist prices and of a poor standard, coffee is no better than a service station and just under 5 for a tiny slice of dried out bought in cake. Service is shocking, unhelpful, uninterested and clearly lacking in any form of training. Much better general experience elsewhere in Poole or get a takeout pot of Lavazza from the hospital restaurant for under 2 and sit on a park bench for the views!
