We bought a new home from Foreman Homes and have been very pleased with the house and the service received. Build quality is fantastic and the fixtures and fittings are of very good quality. The utility area in the garage is as well put in as the kitchen. The house is a traditional build of brick and block and I cant fault it. Anita in sales was very efficient and was always on the ball at all times. I have no negative view at all, everything was done as you would expect, and in many ways better than other new homes we have owned.

Horrible. Bunch of crooks. New build home with mold coming out the walls and skirting board destroying our belongings and furniture. Misaligned doors, flooring needed to be replaced on the first day we moved in! Drainage issues from day one. We bought at Hammerly Farm, our neighbors also having a terrible experience - reported to the LABC and starting legal action against them. Look forward to seeing you in court. Avoid these lot.

I know someone who bought a new build property on the Hammerley Farm Estate and the quality of the build and workmanship is appalling and leaves much to be desired. They, as others have said, have complained via the Foreman Homes internal process which is supposed to take 30 working days, but is substantially longer. It has been so stressful for them and I can't imagine what it's like to have this additional stress, on top of the day to day pressure of life presently. Foreman Homes don't pay specialist contractors to carry out repairs caused by poor workmenship, instead they have internal employees who 'try' to carry out works which they are not trained to do. As one can imagine, this then leads to even more long term problems. Holes cut here, mould found there, water congregating in places it shouldn't, and that's just a small synopsis of life for them in their 'lovely' new build. (The photos I've seen are shocking.) I'm also aware the local Councillor visited the site and found it to be not as it should regarding drainage. Please do think twice before purchasing from Foreman Homes and do take heed of the reviews. **** Added latterly - Just a thought, so many people have had their dreams of a new home taken away by Foremans seeming lack of care and workmanship, why not raise a joint grievance with LABC? Also, it seems the majority of the people affected are shared ownership and not fully mortgaged?

So so so bad at any customer care and getting their act together. I moved into a new build in 2020 and have had faults since since day I moved in. A poor tiler has turned up twice both times needing a plumber and an electrician for a fault that I had where the water gets down the back if the tiles and leaks out the side of the bath. The wall is crumbling, lino is lifted and the skirting board rotting. I also have a hole in my ceiling still that the crew on site made because my light fitting was in the way of the loft being able to open. They moved the light immediately (great) the hole is still there (not so great). They were amazing when I first moved in. But I am not ignored and strung along with COVID excuses (I run a business so I know poor customer care is not due to COVID)when all that is happening is a bigger job is being created. Most people on my estate (Poets Meadow) have issues and are spending a disproportionate amount of time chasing to get work done. If you are looking for a builder for your development - I do not recommend these people.
