Fish & Chips at 27

Owners are scammers and employ people without contracts so they can fire them without paying out agreed bonuses or holidays owed. If you work here, make sure you get a contract as the owners aren't nice people and will be nothing but nice to your face, and fire you/ blame you for everything the moment things don't work out to plan. They fired me without paying out my final pay in a correct fashion, I was missing my bonus and in addition to those things they moved me to a different store without considering me and moved me from salaried full time to part time hours whilst giving me literally 8 hours notice on my next shifts. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!

Got a Too Good to Go order and the food was lovely. 1 battered sausage, 3 large sausages and a big bag of chips. All still very hot and fresh. Will definitely be coming back.

Smallest bit of regular cod I have ever been served. Regular chips has shrunk insize as well. Time to find another chippy

Grabbed a takeaway for a family email for 7, the fish was ok, batter slightly overcooked but good portion. Fish cakes and battered sausage were ok, hard to get wrong but a budget version. One of the party wanted a pie and was amazed they didnt do them so Opted for scampi instead and this was dreadful. Horrible taste and whatever was inside was more the consistency of a fish cake and definitely not scampi! We bought curry sauce but this was really thin and very salty so we threw it away. We had two bags of chips and one was on old batch that were overcooked and the other an anaemic batch that was undercooked, neither very nice. All in all a very disappointing supper and not venue I would revisit or recommend after all if a chippy doesnt do good chips Then whats the point
