What a superb place to enjoy nature, staff very friendly, lots of information boards informing you of points of interest in the natural world. Good toilet facilities, onsite cafe and shop, lots of parking, and best of all, if you're an RSPB member, parking is free, and you're supporting a charity for the protection of wildlife.

I highly recommend sitting in the cafe Garden on a sunny afternoon, walking through the bluebell woods and taking a good book and a flask and setting up camp for the afternoon to enjoy the birdsong.
