What a lovely and inviting place, called in here to enquire about arranging a wake, i was greeted by Jaine who couldnt have bern more helpful.

Visited midweek in a 2ball, very fairly priced as one of Yorkshire's top rated courses. Course was in very good condition considering how wet Spring has been with immaculate tees, well maintained fairways and penal but fair rough. Greens had been treated earlier in the week but still ran true, though were a bit slower than expected - I'm sure they're ratcheted up in the summer! Really enjoyable course to play with some stunning backdrops, a good variety of par 3s, and good shots rewarded. Bad shots punished but not unfairly. Pays to be a longer hitter but by no means a slog or unenjoyable for shorter players. Good pace of play. Welcome in the pro shop and from members was superb, great practice facilities too, and no 'snobbishness' at all. Very scenic halfway house and the clubhouse look lovely but we didn't use these facilites so cannot comment. We will be back!
