I needed a new inner sole and the old one needed tearing out as it was sewn in. It was the only place willing to take on the job and they did a brilliant job. I highly recommend them.

Wow, it was worth hunting down a proper cobbler. I have had a pair of shoes that had crippled me for the best part of 20 years (long story about why I didn't dump them). I explained the problem and what i wanted to the chap running the place. He listened carefully and took his time considering the challenge. After covering off a few approaches he said that he'd get back to me the following week if he could find the right materials. Well, low and behold he managed make the shoes perfect to walk in but they also looked better than before. He did all this within the time frame he had initially stated. But wait, there's more. Whilst I was waiting to collect the shoes, the cobbler repaired a lady's shoes but refused payment as he had simply glued them rather than applying his usual craft. He said he father would turn in his grave if he knew he'd just simply glued. Simply put, the cobblers is run by true artisans who are genuinely down to earth and truly generous.

Great service at a great price. Wanted broken elastic straps replaced and stitched on my sandals - done a great job! Looking to fix a broken zip on a handbag for me now! Extremely helpful, chatty and friendly too! Can highly recommend.
