The Scuba Place

Having travelled all over the world for many years, we now book pretty much all of our trips with The Scuba Place. The organisation and attention to detail on the trips they plan are second to none. Whether you want a simple week in Egypt, or a bespoke, multi week, multi destination trip to a remote, far-flung corner of the world they can organise it for you. They know the issues to look out for and if something isn't quite right or something goes wrong, which can happen when you travel to more remote locations, you can pick up the phone to them safe in the knowledge they will put things right. That alone makes booking trips with them a no brainer for us. If you join one of their hosted (come dive with us) trips you also have the added reassurance that a member of their staff is with you hosting the trip, to make sure everyone has an amazing time. We simply cant recommend them highly enough.

After our planned trip to the Maldives was cancelled due to the pandemic, John and the team at the scuba place worked tirelessly to find us an alternative holiday. After contacting us all individually they came up with a possibility in Grenada. We all agreed on the concept so off to work they went. Every fine detail was taken care of, including pcr tests. This turned out to be the most amazing diving holiday ever. Many new friends have been made. Various other complications happened while we were away. John just got to work on his laptop and sorted everything out. I cant recommend The Scuba Place highly enough for your next trip. You will get value for money and an incredible memorable trip. I don't usually do reviews, but I will make an exception for the Scuba Place. We first used The Scuba Place in 2020 (yes THAT year!) when we planned to do a new Egypt Liveaboard. That fell through, but John's persistence to make something happen for us meant that a later trip went ahead to Grenada. We feel truly lucky to have been able to get away that year, and to accompany John and family, and a great group of others. John dealt with every emerging crisis (no exaggeration, there were inevitably several, as their blog attests) in a calm, can-do manner - and always with a smile on his face. Admirable. Would definitely recommend, and will use again.

Travelled on many trips with The Scuba Place and each trip has been amazing and so well organised. Always amazing resorts and liveaboards. Been working closely with John and Mona for a good few years now and theyre not only your travel agent but soon become your friend. A pleasure to work with. Many more trips to come
