I dined here and paid good money for a "Deerhunter" pie meal with home made gravy and seasonal vegetables. What I was served was a cheap nasty Pukka pie, Asda Smart Price gravy and frozen peas and sweetcorn. The cheek. Food & drinks: Terrible

Acceptable value for money. For this price I did not expect to have a Hilton-like experience, so the place met my expectations. The rooms are tiny and simple, but clean and tidy. Originally, breakfast was not available, but the staff told us they can areange it if more guests request it, so they did it for 4 of us. The food was okay (typical English breakfast), but not being English some continental breakfast would have made me a bit happier. My overall experience was good and I have only one little thing to mention. Be mindful of that economy rooms mean that they are close to the railway and it can be noisy. Luckily, I managed to get upgraded to a standard room.
