Flat white was not a flat white, it was milky coffee with a bit of foam on the top.
Cooked breakfast dishes nothing to write home about and poached eggs very over cooked.
All in all, the best part of 50 for mediocre food, disappointing coffee and no atmosphere. I know costs have increased but these prices are crazy. The staff also took our (small) order incorrectly so lots of confusion before the correct meals finally arrived. The kitchen seemed more focussed on getting the food right than front of house. Sorry, despite us coming to pangbourne fairly often we wont be returning.
