Broomhill Farm Holiday Cottage

We have stayed at Broomhill Farm Holiday Cottage three times. It is in a wonderful, peaceful location, surrounded by trees, a nice garden and farmland. There are many birds to see; as well as the usual garden favourites, there are woodpeckers and this year a pair of nuthatches. The cottage is well appointed and comfortable and Judy and Barry are great hosts. You will also get a warm welcome from Bill, Skip and Ben (the dogs). Last, but not least, the sunsets are amazing. Highly recommended.

I have taken my mother who is 92 this year to Broomhill Farm cottage about 9 times now we are going in about a weeks time and again this Christmas. Each time we arrive we are welcomed by Barry and Judy the cottage is lovely and roomy ideal for my mother who is not so mobile and uses a walking frame and very clean to a high standard. There are always flowers about and a little something in the fridge at Christmas there is a decorated fir tree in the bay window in the lounge and plenty of fresh holy around we also get treated to a lovely turkey dinner with all the trimmings plus Christmas pud and a glass of Champagne. We very often invite Barry and Judy in for a chat and a drink they are a lovely couple and bend over backwards to help or do anything for you they have 2 lovely dogs Bill and Skip who always want to say hello as well if you want sit outside there are lovely gardens to sit in and have a barbecue or a walk down to the lakes where you can fish. In all we have lovely time .

This place is truly amazing, loved it here and the hosts Barry and Judy are now our holiday family. They will bend over backwards to ensure your stay is perfect. The cottage was so much more than we expected ...spotless and well equipped. I have never slept so well. Miss my new pals Skip and Bill, the resident working farm dogs. So quiet and peaceful with a multitude of birds visiting the bird table. Lovely walks. And those eggs!.. can't wait till next year..

Broomhill Farm Cottage feels like our second home and Barry and Judy our Devon Family. Barry and Judy are so welcoming, friendly and kind. They share their beautiful farm and animals with us. The dogs Billy, Skip and Beni are amazing play friends for our son. We feed the chickens, bottle feed lambs and explore the beautiful surroundings. The nature reserve and lakes are beautiful. The cottage is a true country delight overlooking stunning gardens and countryside. The most relaxing place I have ever been to. The cottage has everything you could ask for and nothing is to much trouble for Judy looking after us all. From the lounge window you can sit and watch the birds on the bird table for hours. The cottage is close to stunning coast. Widemouth Bay is our favourite with amazing views and brilliant body boarding and surfing. We have enjoyed 6 holidays at Broomhill Farm Cottage and can think of nowhere better for a truly relaxing and peaceful holiday.

This place is a must if you want to chill and relax for a week. From the moment you arrive Barry & Judy are there to greet you and give you a warm welcome onto their Devon farm. The letting cottage is cosy, exceptionally clean, very well equipped from extra blankets, pillows & then onto the sunny living room with lovely views into the garden and the wild Devon landscape. The cottage has everything you need to bunker down relax and enjoy the fresh clean air and Devon lifestyle. Only a short drive to the Cornish coast with sandy beaches and surrounded by great cycle ways & walks.
