I had been told of this haberdashery and fabrics shop by a pal and thought I'd check it out instead of travelling to either Salisbury or Poole for a good choice of threads. I was amazed at how good this shop is, tucked away in the corner. So bought my threads, came away with a free sample of fabric that appealed (which I will be back to purchase on Monday!) and so happy to not only have to travel but also the lovely, personal customer service that I received was the cherry on top of the cake !

A lovely little find could not fault the food. It was very busy but I felt there was space. I asked if they did something off the menu as my partner could not eat many of the things that were included in the dishes on offer. They duly abliged. There was fish and chips which she could have had but did not want that as we had that the previous day lol. So she plump for soup and a sandwich which was a feast in itself. I went for the pork which was lovely and tender. The drinks was served promptly as with the meals. We wasn't rushed at all credit to the staff. The only draw back i found was something i must have missed was the service charge. Which is fine but i like to make my own mind up and for a pub this was something i don't normally come across. No doubt many more will follow due to current rising costs. I did ask for it to be removed. The charge was unusual in itself as it wasn't the normal 10 %. Anyway once again a lovely meal and a good atmosphere. Welldone.

Always a variety of lovely fabrics. The owner is lovely and knowledgeable and we always have a good chat.
