Kenyon Street Post Office

We are so lucky to have this local post office. The staff are charming, they always seem to be open, and they are really helpful, too.

I never thought Id be writing a Google review on a post office, but I am honestly shocked how disgustingly awful the staff are in there. Ive never had such bad customer service, they were incredibly rude, unkind and unhelpful. This is such a shame as its nice to support local smaller shops but honestly I would rather walk miles more to another post office than be spoke to in that way again. Awful customer service, theyve always been rude but this was too far.

All of the bad reviews about the rude little Indian man is true !! He is so unnecessarily rude and same thing my package hasnt been received by Amazon even though I sent it last week! Usually takes a couple of days.. the tall Indian guy was nice though but the short old man SO RUDE !!

It is extremely unusual for me to leave a negative review. I would much rather praise where praise is due and otherwise keep quiet. But sadly, after years of using this post office (and shop) and having been met with a range of anttitudes from indifference to extreme rudeness, I am finally voting with my feet. Even though this post office is less than five minutes from my house, and the next nearest is an extra 10 minute walk away, I will not be using their services again. Perhaps at some point they will actually take a note of this extraordinarily high number of negative reviews and train their staff to be polite and helpful. It makes me sad to write this as I am a staunch supporter of shopping locally, but unfortunately this shop is going to have to be the exception until attitudes change.
