        During the pandemic this hidden treasure saved my sanity as I walked through most days, often without anyone in sight, let alone socially distanced, and saw the seasons turn from the riot of colour, to the sombre hibernations of winter. Thank you to the gardeners and volunteers for offering so much to us all.

        I live fairly locally so I go to the walled garden regularly and its beautiful in all seasons. Somehow Id never visited before in September and it turns out its when the garden is at its best! Well done to the gardeners, it was so colourful and vibrant.
